Since 2017 Eastside Opportunity Center has striven to bring life skill classes and vocational training to the Ellensburg area. Their mission is to help people learn the skills that help them live the life they imagine for themselves.
How we partner
community collaboration and innovation
By working together, pooling resources such as people, supplies and money, we can accomplish more for our community. We may have different missions but we serve the same population of people: those who want to improve their lives by learning new skills and making new friends. With this we are fostering a sense of community so that we can all feel accepted and have meaning in our lives.
Eastside Opportunity Center Activities
Life Skills
Learn practical, everyday skills like budgeting, cooking, sewing and how to clean anything. Our classes are geared for the adult learner and tailored to the needs and abilities of the participants.
Vocational Training
Our practical, site-based programs partner with local businesses to provide a safe place to learn job skills.
Drop in, hang out
Looking for a community where you can find support and be yourself? Come hang-out at our drop-in center where you can connect with others who are facing similar challenges. We understand how important it is to be heard and understood, so come speak your mind in a safe and welcoming space.
